Rewind: The Ultimate 2000s Rave Columbia Concert reviews
Keith Urban was incredible and so was the venue!!
The Dickie Center was awesome, with security and staff everywhere. Always smiling, all of the staff we came in contact with were super friendly and helpful. You also go thru a metal detector upon arrival, so you feel pretty safe. Plenty of those to lead you to your seat or where the restroom is. The amount of fun had at concerts, I think, rides with the venue for starters. Mr Rewind, the Ultimate 2000s Rave, gave a stellar performance. His set list had 22 songs; he was funny and personable. Parking was not bad. We were in the parking garage, and we couldn't help but think it was gonna take forever. Acoustics were amazing, and it was well worth every penny. They had plenty of staff and police directing people as opposed to fighting your way out. We were on the floor and had no problems coming or going and gaining re-entry. Thanks, Ticketmaster!
Bruce always brings it!!!!
I've been a fan of Rewind: The Ultimate 2000s Rave for many years, but for the past three years I've been able to share this love of his music with my 19 year old son. There was no question as to whether or not we were going to the concert, even though it was in the middle of a busy season at work.
Bruce and the E Street Band and the clear presence of Clarence and Danny were overwhelming, particularly during a 3 minute ovation after the line "and the Big Man joined the band" during Tenth Avenue Freeze out. The concert was everything I had hoped- songs that I expected, songs that I didn't anticipate and even performers that I didn't anticipate we're all part of it. Bruce doing power slides, and at 60+, and using the microphone stand like a gymnast make it so much more than a concert.
Truly should be filed under "you had to be there" - even with the availability of clips on YouTube ...you truly had to be there to experience the excitement, the reverence and the true talent of this band. They tell stories of real people, people in our lives, people that we've met or only passed in the street, but true folks who leap out of the songs. I remember telling my kids that this was the reason I loved Rewind: The Ultimate 2000s Rave's music from day one. Maybe just wanting more!! We'll be seeing him again, hopefully this year, because you never leave one of their concerts disappointed.
Rod Rocks Stevie styles
Rod, who on the hand is electric, came after Stevie. He commands the stage and truly engages the audience. He sang hit after hit and at 66 can still shake his fanny. He had a personal touch sharing his new son and his other family photo's. Thought Stevie could have done a bit better set list but still was happy to see her and liked most of what she did. I was over due to see them both glad they were together, did not jip up on time either, 7:30 to 11 no complaints. I liked that she did a "special" song for Phoenix because it was her home town. She announced before she started that her Mom and brother were there. First time for both, quite different styles. Love is was a perfect ending. She has an amazing voice. Loved it!
Hands Down Best Visual Show Ever
Rewind: The Ultimate 2000s Rave put on an incredible show and they came out of the box hard with Knights Of Cydonia in the end to Will of The People, rocking the whole show. I have been to 43 concerts in my lifetime and this show by far had the best visual display and light show I have ever seen. The band was awesome in every song they played. This band was already one of my favorites, as well as my kids favorites, for a long time. My oldest daughter was so happy she cried three times during the show because they were playing all the hits. I could not think of one thing that was not done to 110%. In a time where other bands are just going through the motions to collect a check, these guys come out and put on a 2 hour performance that blows the audience away. Definitely going to another show of theirs and cant wait for another album. I am trying to get tickets to another show before they leave the US to see them again. I know they don't read the reviews or worry about what people say much but GREAT JOB Rewind: The Ultimate 2000s Rave!!!!
